At some stage.
I can’t really pinpoint exactly.
We did not have mobile phones.
According to a recent study, on average, people spend about 2.5 hrs a day on theirs.
Which is about 1,000 hours a year.
Over 1 month of the year looking at your phone.
What on earth were we doing before they appeared? – Where did we spend those 1,000 hours? – What did we do with all that ‘free’ time? – Where did all the time go?
I would agree that some time is freed up with the use of a phone (e.g. online banking & bill payments). Researching & learning things is much easier. The World is far more connected.
I would also have to agree that far more time is probably ‘lost’ on a phone engaging in utter bollocks.
As we get older, we realise more & more, the finite resource of time & maybe it is worth mentally checking ourselves and simply asking:
Benificial? or Bollocks?
